Gold and silver prices on June 4: 24k Gold rate above ₹98,000 per 10 gram amid concern over US trade war; check details

Domestic gold prices are trading higher in early morning session on Wednesday. As of 9:30 am, the 24K gold rate in the local market stood at ₹98,170 per 10 gram, up ₹380/10 gram compared to yesterday’s closing, while 22K gold was at ₹89,989 per 10 gram.

The yellow metal is witnessing consistent demand in last few days amid concerns over U.S. trade tariffs and their economic impact. Besides this increase in geopolitical tensions in Europe and the Middle East also supported demand for the bullions.

In New Delhi markets, the 24K gold rate stood at ₹97,750 per 10 gram and 22K gold at ₹89,604 per 10 gram.

MCX Gold futures are also trading higher. As of 9:30 am, the MCX Gold June future is up 0.3% at ₹98,025 per 10 gram, with a day high of ₹98,160 and day low of ₹98,000. In the US markets, Gold futures for June delivery were trading 0.2% or $6.7 higher at $3,383 an ounce.

Silver Price Today in India (June 4, 2025)

Silver prices are also trading higher in the local market above 1 lakh mark after several months. As of 9:30 am, silver prices are around ₹101,720 per kg, up 0.1%. Meanwhile, MCX Silver for July delivery trades 0.3% higher at ₹101,545 per kg as of 9:30 am, while international silver prices trade around $34.6 per troy ounce, up 0.2%.
