CE Info Systems block deal: Shares of CE Info Systems, also known as MapmyIndia, crashed as much as 9.26% to ₹1,787.60 apiece on the NSE on Thursday, June 12, after, according to a news report, the stock witnessed a large transaction during the block deal window in the pre-open session.
As many as 28.60 lakh shares, representing 5.30% equity, changed hands at ₹1,813.70/sh via block deals today, said a report by CNBC TV18.

An earlier news report said that PhonePe Ltd, the digital payments major, had launched a block deal to sell 5% equity in the company for ₹476.2 crore.

The floor price of the deal is said to be ₹1,750 per share, which is a 10.4% discount to CE Infosystems' last closing price, said a report by CNBC-TV18.

At the end of the March quarter (Q4 FY25), PhonePe held an 18.7% stake in MapMyIndia.

In January 2025, Qualcomm Technologies and MapmyIndia announced a technology collaboration in a bid to support the 'Make in India' initiative for the automotive sector.

Combining Qualcomm Technologies' Snapdragon Digital Chassis solutions with MapmyIndia's expertise, the two will deliver automotive connectivity solutions and connected services for the four-wheeler (4W) and two-wheeler (2W) segments domestically and for global automakers.

"As part of the companies' work, MapmyIndia will utilise Qualcomm Technologies' Snapdragon Auto Connectivity Platform to develop telematics solutions tailored to the needs of Indian automakers," according to a release.

MapmyIndia shares listing details

MapmyIndia shares made a strong start on the bourses on December 21, 2021. The stock of CE Info Systems – which owns the MapmyIndia platform – listed on BSE at ₹1,581, a premium of 53% over its issue price of ₹1,033.

On the NSE, MapmyIndia shares began their journey at ₹1,565, a premium of 51.5%. MapmyIndia is a provider of digital maps, geospatial software and location-based IoT technologies.

MapmyIndia's IPO was open for subscription from December 9 to December 13, 2021. The IPO saw an overall subscription of 154.7 times the shares on offer.
