Q4 results today: A host of companies will release their Q4 earnings today. The list includes names such as JSW Steel, Ashok Leyland, Balkrishna Industries, Glenmark Pharma, BEML, Devyani International, Azad Engineering, AIA Engineering, Reliance Infrastructure, Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail, Transrail Lighting, Anupam Rasayan India, and Linde India.
ITC: ITC, the country's leading fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company, on Thursday, May 22, reported a net profit of ₹19,561.57 crore in the January-March quarter, marking an increase of 247% from ₹5,638 crore in the same period last year. The sharp surge in profit in the March quarter came on the back of an exceptional gain of ₹15,179.43 crore on the demerger of the hotels business. READ MORE
Sun Pharma: Sun Pharmaceutical Industries on Thursday, May 22, reported consolidated gross sales of ₹12,815.6 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2025 (Q4 FY25), up 8.5% year-on-year (YoY).

Its total revenue from operations came in at ₹12,958.84 crore, up 8.1% against ₹11,982.90 crore registered in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

Sun Pharma's adjusted net profit (excluding the exceptional items) for Q4 FY25 was ₹2,889.1 crore, up 4.8% YoY. Reported net profit for the quarter slipped 19% YoY to ₹2,149.9 crore as against ₹2,654.6 crore logged during Q4 FY24. READ MORE
Himadri Speciality Chemical: Himadri Speciality Chemical Ltd (HSCL) on Thursday said it has made a strategic investment of $4.43 million to acquire a 16.24% stake in US-headquartered International Battery Company Inc. (IBC).

The investment will also provide HSCL with representation on IBC’s board, the company said in a statement.

“This marks a significant milestone for Himadri as it initiates the commercial deployment of its LFP cathode active and anode materials,” it said.

IBC has prismatic cell technologies for energy storage and mobility applications across global markets. It currently operates a 50 MWh lithium-ion battery cell facility in South Korea, which commenced production in 2023.

BEL, Trent, Nestle India, and IndusInd Bank: Asia Index, the benchmarks and market intelligence arm of BSE, on Thursday said that Tata Group-owned Trent and state-owned Bharat Electronics will replace Nestle India and IndusInd Bank in the 30-share Sensex.

The changes will come into effect from the beginning of trading on June 23, BSE said in a statement.

The rejig marks a shift in the composition of the benchmark index, with Trent and Bharat Electronics being added while FMCG major Nestle India and private sector lender IndusInd Bank will exit the Sensex as part of the reconstitution.

NTPC Green Energy: State-owned NTPC Green Energy on Thursday said it has bagged a battery energy storage project in Kerala in an auction conducted by NHPC.

The 80 MW/320 MWh battery energy storage project will provide power backup or a supply of 80 MW for four hours.

NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL) emerged as the winning bidder in the e-reverse auction conducted by NHPC on May 21, 2025, a regulatory filing said.

The auction was part of NHPC's tender for the selection of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) developers for the setting up of 125 125MW / 500 MWh ISTS-connected standalone BESS in Kerala.

TBO Tek: Travel tech firm TBO Tek on Thursday reported a 27% rise in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to ₹59 crore during the March quarter.

The company had posted a profit of ₹45 crore in the year-ago period.

Revenue from operations during the quarter under review rose 21% to ₹446 crore from ₹369 crore during the fourth quarter of FY24, the company said in a statement.

For FY25, consolidated PAT grew to ₹230 crore from ₹201 crore delivered in 2023-24, it said.

Adani Ports: Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) on Thursday said its board has approved a proposal to raise up to ₹6,000 crore by issuing debentures on a private placement basis for capex and refinancing of existing debt.

APSEZ, in a regulatory filing, said its board, in a meeting held on May 22, 2025, has given its in-principle approval for the issuance of non-convertible debentures for capex/refinancing of existing debt and general corporate purposes for an aggregate amount not exceeding ₹6,000 crore in one or more tranches on a private placement basis.

ITC Hotels: ITC Hotels on Thursday announced the signing of a Welcomhotel in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, with KD Greens, Mathura.

The signing marks the entry of Brand Welcomhotel to an important market and strengthens the ITC Hotels footprint in Uttar Pradesh, with the existing six operating hotels offering 479 keys and more properties across brands in the pipeline.

Located 90 km from the Noida International Airport, on Delhi Agra Highway 'NH-19 ', Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels Vrindavan will feature 120 guest rooms.
